R.I.P., Søren

It is indeed with a heavy heart and much sorrow that I must post the passing of my friend Søren Refbjerg. For an all too short while I sold his pipes on my website and frequently visited him at his workshop in Copenhagen. I learned much from him and enjoyed his company there, surrounded by pipes, the machines that he used to make them and the dust that came from the process. We laughed a lot together, learning as we went about how to present his lovely pipes on a small but worldwide website. I sent his pipes all over the world. He thought that was wonderful.
I shall miss the man, his pipes and his wonderful humour. We have lost a true master.
The world has become a sorrier place. Rest in eternal peace, Søren.

The Pipe Smoker 
I never had any of the pipes he turned out but any loss in the pipe community somehow feels personal.

My love of the pipe is outstanding I had one of each. But my throat does not agree I remember you all as well.
